To watch Jaeden (center) and his pal RJ (right) in medical play session with
Robyn Chow-Hoy, you'd think they were at home playing in his bedroom.
Instead, they were in Jaeden's hospital room, acting out medical procedures.
Jaeden is a big fan of Child Life Specialist Robyn -- and for good reason.
She makes the hospital a fun place! Jaeden could hardly contain his laughter,
as he playfully placed band-aids on everyone's head -- a special accessory
for the two boys following chemotherapy. Whoever thought the hospital
could be so much fun?
Your gift helps us care for Hawaii's kids.
Support Hawaii's Children's Hospital.
From Child Life Specialists to Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physicians
These are the caring medical specialists that a sick child deserves -- and these are the specialists
you will find at Kapi'olani Medical Center, Hawaii's only children's hospital.
Children's hospitals represent less than 5 percent of all hospitals in the nation
Of the 3 million children hospitalized every year, only about one-third receive care in a children's hospital
Here in Hawaii, our children are fortunate. We have a dedicated hospital right here in our islands to care for our keiki.
I would like to give a gift to support a program such as Child Life Services, that makes Kapi'olani Medical Center a truly special medical facility for Hawaii's keiki.
